The Japan-themed festival at Olympic Park is back! Live music, workshops, food & sweets, kimono, arts & crafts, films, records & more! 🌸🏮

YOKIMONO JAPANESE MARKET is returning at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford for our second edition — now expanded to two days! 30+ Japanese artists, shops & eats – all in one place.

Join us at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to explore and celebrate both traditional and contemporary Japanese culture — from food and fashion to art and craftsmanship.

YOKIMONO (よきもの, meaning "good things" in Japanese) Market began in Dalston, Hackney in 2019. Browse a thoughtful selection of stalls offering artisan goods made in Japan, together with handcrafted items by Japanese artists and makers based in London. Alongside the market, enjoy live music performances, creative workshops, and film screenings.

🗓️ Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd May 2026, 11am–6pm 📍 Riverside East, beside the ArcelorMittal Orbit, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, 5 Thornton Street, Stratford, London E20 2AD FREE ENTRY & FAMILY FRIENDLY. Dogs on a lead welcome.

Event line-up includes: DJ Shintaro (Japanese music DJ set both days), Eisa Dance & Sanshin Okinawa Minyo Music (Day 1), TAIKO Drumming & Japanese Flute (Day 2), BON-ODORI Japanese Folk Dance (Day 2), and Musical Montage of Classic Japanese Films by Japanese Film Club (both days). Plus ticketed workshops on Sunday: Furoshiki fabric wrapping, Ikebana flower arrangement, and Wagashi traditional sweets.
