About Us
East and Southeast Asian culture in the UK, all in one place.
NOVA ESEA is a guide to East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) music, art, food and culture across the UK. We list the gigs, exhibitions, festivals and markets worth your time, write guides to the big dates in the calendar, and interview the chefs, artists and founders behind them.
Why we do it
ESEA culture in the UK is spread across venues, collectives and Instagram accounts, and it is easy to miss. We want it to be simple to find, whether you grew up with it or you are coming to it for the first time.
On the ground
We run events too. Gigs and festivals that bring ESEA artists and performers together, often in collaboration with others in the community.
What we stand for
We care about environmental and social sustainability, gender equality and LGBTQ+ rights, and we try to reflect that in what we cover and who we work with.
