'Home Kong' - Hong Kong Fire Fundraising Music Night

A fundraising music night to support those affected by the devastating high-rise fire in Tai Po, Hong Kong. The fire has claimed at least over 150 lives, destroyed homes of thousands of families, with many still missing and injured. As musicians from Hong Kong, now based in the UK, we hope to do what we can to support those affected.

There will also be a charity sale, and we invite artists to donate their creations, from art & crafts, illustrations to books to support the cause (to donate please email moonfestofficial@gmail.com). We also thank Pulse & Pickle for kindly hosting us - we encourage our attendees to get some food and drinks from them too.

Whether you are a Hongkonger or a friend, we very much welcome you to join us. We hope the night will offer some much-needed healing energy and kindred spirit to our community too.

Who is participating?

Monica Wat is a singer-songwriter hailing from Hong Kong who uprooted her life to the UK four years ago. She weaves literature-inspired lyricism with ethereal vocals and instrumentation, telling tales of her life from growing up in Hong Kong, migration to drifting between continents. Her song ‘Silver’, recorded in her debut EP ‘Fairylights’, was awarded the first place of The University of Hong Kong’s Keen Lyric Quest (Original Song category).

minor. is a Hong Kong–born indie artist and producer, currently based in London. His music blends soft-spoken R&B, bedroom pop and atmospheric electronic textures, often tracing themes of memory, relationship and belonging. In 2022, he joined RubberBand (Hong Kong) in Barcelona for the Primavera music festival, representing a fresh voice of Hong Kong music. 

Yinki Moonrise is a Sound Healer from Hong Kong, alchemising generational heartbreak into song.

Where will the donations go?

All proceeds from ticket and charity sales will be donated to trusted organisations in Hong Kong supporting those affected by the fire. We have decided to donate half of the proceeds specifically to Bethune House, which supports migrant workers in Hong Kong. They have been directly offering their services to migrant workers and their loved ones affected by the fire, including helping to locate missing migrant workers, visiting injured workers at the hospitals and supplying necessities. Sadly, at least 10 migrant workers from Indonesia and the Philippines were killed in the fire. 3 were injured and 30 remain missing, while hundreds of migrant workers are displaced (as of December 2, 2025).

The other half of the proceeds will be donated to Lok Sin Tong, an organisation providing temporary housing for residents of Tai Po's Wang Fuk Court whose homes have been destroyed. They also offer emergency financial assistance and medicine distribution and consultation services to those affected.

What is Made on the Moon CIC?

Founded in 2022, Made on the Moon is an East & South East Asian (ESEA) non-profit creative & cultural agency, fostering space for more ESEA artistic representation through our annual multi-arts festival MOON FEST, community outreach, consultancy & other projects.

Monica Wat是來自香港的唱作歌手，清澈柔美的嗓子融合結他、鋼琴的伴奏，以詩般的英文歌詞，道出在香港成長至離別等等細水流長的故事。她的作品Silver曾獲首屆香港大學作詞比賽The University of Hong Kong Keen Lyric Quest原創歌曲第一名。

Minor.是香港出生的獨立音樂人與製作人，現居倫敦。他的作品融合柔和的 R&B、bedroom pop 及氛圍電子質感，經常以記憶、關係與歸屬為主題。在 2022 年，他隨香港樂隊 RubberBand 前往巴塞隆拿參與 Primavera 音樂節，代表著香港音樂界的新聲音。

Yinki Moonrise是一位來自香港的聲音療癒師，將幾代人的心碎化為歌曲。

捐款用途

所有門票和慈善義賣的收入將捐贈予香港值得信賴、致力幫助受災群眾的機構。我們決定將其中一半收益捐贈予白恩逢之家。該機構為香港的外籍家傭提供支援，例如協助尋找及聯絡失蹤家傭、為受火災影響的家傭提供物資、探望家傭傷者。至少10名來自印尼和菲律賓的家傭在火災中喪生，另有3人受傷，30人失蹤 , 過百人流離失所（截至2025年12月2日）。

另一半收益將捐贈給樂善堂，該機構為大埔宏福苑房屋被燒毀的居民提供臨時住所。樂善堂也為受災民眾提供緊急經濟援助、藥品分發和諮詢服務。
