City Pop Waves presents Masayoshi Takanaka

City Pop Waves presents a first-of-its-kind outdoor festival celebrating Japanese music in the UK, headlined by legendary guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka at Crystal Palace Bowl.

Takanaka returns to the UK following two sold-out O2 Academy Brixton shows and will perform an extended 2-hour set. Support comes from legendary jazz keyboardist Himiko Kikuchi, performing her 1987 jazz fusion masterpiece Flying Beagle in full, alongside Ginger Root (DJ set) and Junko Yagami.

Doors: 5pm | Show starts: 6pm | Curfew: 10:30pm
