About the event
Tokyo Riddim Sunday returns to The Fox and Firkin in Lewisham for a summer day of Japanese reggae, dub and soul.
Hosted by Time Capsule Records, the event celebrates the Tokyo Riddim Band's unique fusion of J-reggae and city-pop sounds — rooted in the moment when Japanese reggae entered the broader public consciousness in the late 1970s and 1980s, merging commercial city-pop style with an infectious backbeat.
