About the event
𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 at The Crypt Gallery @thecryptgallerylondon in London from November 14–19, 2025, with a Private View on November 13.
What is a ‘WITCH’? A shadowed figure cast out of history? A woman feared for her knowledge, punished for her difference? A mythical outcast whispered about in the dark?
Or perhaps, she is something else entirely. A voice reclaimed. A body unbound. A power reimagined.
In this exhibition, we reimagine the figure of the “witch” not as a folkloric symbol, but as a historically and socially charged identity shaped by accusation, resistance, and self-definition. Through powerful works that speak to this spirit, the artists reclaim witch as a symbol of strength and imagination. We invite you to join us in rethinking her story together.
