About the event

Embark on a transformative journey spanning a decade of collaboration between the visionary artist Xie Rong, also known as Echo Morgan, and the astute photographer Jamie Baker. Through the medium of live performances and photography, this dynamic duo fearlessly confronts global issues, igniting essential dialogues on subjects ranging from censorship to revealing the hidden AID epidemic among the tribes in LiangShan, China.

This exhibition offers a profound glimpse into 15 live performances, eloquently captured through photographs, videos, and objects, preserving the essence of each riveting moment.

A notable highlight of the showcase will be a live action painting by Xie Rong, accompanied by the mesmerising rhythms of percussionist Wang BeiBei, demonstrating the profound impact of art as a catalyst for activism.
