What's happening at Lanterns & Lunar Insights:

🏮 Lantern Crafting Workshop — design and assemble your own traditional lantern to light up the night.

🥮 Mooncake Tasting — savour a variety of mooncakes, from classic lotus seed paste to modern flavours, paired with fragrant tea.

🌕 Lunar Folklore — discover the enchanting legends of the Moon Goddess Chang'e and the Jade Rabbit.

🤝 Festive Gathering — connect with fellow culture lovers and celebrate the spirit of reunion and gratitude.

The Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節) is a traditional harvest festival celebrated across many Asian cultures. Falling on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, it is a time when the moon is at its brightest and fullest, symbolising family reunion — much like the roundness of the mooncakes shared.

All materials and tastings are provided. Fees: LingoClass students free, visitors £10. Located in Holborn, 5 minutes from Holborn station.
