The Intergenerational Game: Lunar New Year Edition
A celebration of all things family at SOUTHBANK CENTRE – whatever shape or size – with added competition. Bring your nearest and dearest for a day of games and laughter.
Time & Location
10 Feb 2024, 11:30 – 16:00
London, Southbank Centre, London SE1, UK
About the event
This event riffs on the Generation Game on television in the 1970s, where two people of different generations
competed against each other for prizes. But this time, in the Intergenerational Game we invite all of Imagine Children’s Festival's audience,
spanning multiple generations, to compete against each other for the ultimate prize.
For this year’s games, we’re celebrating Lunar New Year with the Orang Collectif,
including artists Natalie Wong, Fausta Joly and Louiseanne Wong
who guide you through the celebrations using dance-offs, quiz rounds and mass participatory fun!
Started by Natalie Wong and Arthur Astier, the Orang Collectif is a cross-disciplinary and multicultural collective
who tell stories and explore different forms of art through the languages of movement, music, sound and lights.
The Orang Collectif celebrates diverse cultures, languages and theatrical traditions reflecting upon our modern society.
