About the event
THE GREAT BRITISH HUSBAND HUNT
In this absurd and hilarious solo clown show, a young Chinese woman has 7 days left before her visa runs out. Convinced that marriage is the only way to build a future in the UK, she sets out to become the perfect British bride.
Her wedding dress is ready.
The ceremony has begun.
But there's just one problem:
There is no groom.
When her wedding veil magically turns into a 7-day guide to finding a British husband, she follows every instruction with complete confidence, leading to increasingly ridiculous results.
The audience can help, give advice, or simply sit back and watch as she tries to find love, win acceptance, and secure her future. Audience participation is always optional, and no two performances are ever the same.
Blending clowning, physical comedy, improvisation, and audience interaction, The Great British Husband Hunt is a funny and playful show about belonging, social expectations, and the strange things we do to be accepted.
Come for the wedding. Stay for the chaos. Help her find a husband... or at least survive the evening.
