Join us at Buddhapadipa Temple for a two-day Songkran Thai New Year celebration, marking both the traditional new year and the temple's 60th anniversary, as a volunteer.

Experience traditional water blessings, merit-making ceremonies with monks, authentic Thai cuisine, cultural performances and community festivities. All are welcome to participate in this meaningful celebration of renewal and six decades of serving the community

Festival Schedule (Both Days)

• 09:00 – Doors Open Arrive early and explore the grounds

• 09:00 – 11:30 – Morning Ceremonies & Chanting Traditional Buddhist ceremonies and ongoing chanting led by the monks

• 12:00 – 13:00 – Live Entertainment Thai music, cultural performances, contests, and more

• 13:00 – 14:00 – Festival Break Food, drinks, and time to explore

• 14:00 – 15:30 – Afternoon Programme

  • Chant for Peace led by the Head Monk

  • Cultural performances and stage acts

  • Community and peace-focused talks

• From 16:00 – Closing Performances Traditional dance and cultural showcases
