Made up of four of the most intriguing and peculiar music minds from Taiwan. Robot Swing was formed out of a love of something 'different'.

Comprised of: ZAOYUAN (Keys/Synths), Yu-Ming a.k.a. Master PP (Drums), NZ (Bass), and Wei-Nong (Guitar/Talkbox); though light in age, this foursome had already put in an incredible amount of work prior to Robot Swing's inception. Having spent years cultivating their craft alongside island favorites like LEO37, Pei-Yu Hung, Yi-Heng Chen, they also served as the creative backbone for "TM5"—the most playlisted Taiwanese indie track of 2022, collaborating with Yellow, Leo Wang, ABAO, Kumachan, Trout Fresh, and LINION.

Robot Swing would eventually make their debut in the summer of 2022 with the jazz- funk-soul-hip-hop-rock-prog-folk infused "SYSTEM BOOTING…" The album would be met with rave reviews as they would go on to receive nominations for 'Best Band' and 'Best Single' at the Golden Melody Awards, 'Best New Artist' at the Golden Indie Music Awards, as well as winning 'Best New Artist' at the 2023 Fresh Music Awards, while receiving the '2022 Album of the Year' selection by Blow Media. In 2024, the band took their conceptual vision to the next level with the "Is It Alive?" concert at Yu-cheng Cinema Studio, performing alongside hand-built robots. The resulting live recordings and visuals swept the industry, earning 'Best Live Performance' at the 2024 GIMA and the prestigious 'Best Band' at the 2025 GIMA. Following the late 2025 release of their sophomore album "Override!", the band has dominated 'Top 10' year-end lists across the region.

Over the past few years, Robot Swing has successfully pivoted to the global stage, showcasing their prowess at AXEAN Festival (Malaysia) and Proweek Festival (Spain). In 2025, they captivated audiences at Clockenflap (Hong Kong) and have been officially invited to perform at the massive Java Jazz Festival.

By bypassing language barriers and communicating through pure musical tension, Robot Swing possesses a rare ability to connect without words. Combining an elite skill set with boundary-pushing songwriting, meticulous taste, and an out-of-this-world sense of humor—this quartet is ready to conquer the music world and beyond.
