About the event

In collaboration with the Karaoke Hole, we will be screening 10 short  films made by 10 new Chinese LGBTQ+ filmmakers, born out of the “Queers Across the Waves: Chinese Queer Filmmaking Talent Development Programme”.  Over a period of three months from March to May 2024, and through a  series of filmmaking workshops, participants have learned, shared,  practiced and developed films together in a safe and dynamic space. Each  participant has successfully completed at least one short film.

DJ:

HAOYE好野(she/him/them),  a queer from East Asia with a life purpose of wanting to make  everything fun and wild. " Let me add some sauce in music and Feel like  your head is opening a blind box". Doesn't want to be limited by music  styles but finds life music styles to be Hiphop,R&B,Afro,Kpop and  any music can dance.

Raindrogyny鮮鮮(she/her), Born and raised  in Taiwan, now a London based DJ.The name comes from the term  ‘Androgyny’ meaning a mixture of all genders, who plays a fusion of  music from Breakbeat, Jungle, Trance, Tribal beat, Hip Hop and even  K-Pop. The goal is to make everyone dance like no one is looking.
