London jazz collective PYJÆN launch their 18-track third album 'Welcome to the Citadel' with a main show at Ronnie Scott's. Expect high-energy jazz, groove and electronic textures, plus special guests including Deschanel Gordon, Jackson Mathod and Ella Clayton. One for anyone following the new wave of UK jazz.

Join PYJÆN for the exclusive launch of their new album Welcome to the Citadel. Blending the band's signature high-energy jazz, groove and electronic textures, this release marks an exciting new chapter in their evolution.

PYJÆN reach inside the deep, multidimensional well of what is broadly called Jazz and bring together all its diverse components in a singular, emotional sound. They released their debut self-titled album in 2019 to wide critical and public acclaim, garnering support from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Huey Morgan, Jazz FM and Clash Magazine.
Adventurous songwriting, meticulous timing, incredibly tight horn arrangements and an obvious joy to play together are PYJÆN's hallmarks. The line-up consists of original members Ben Vize (saxophone/ewi), Lawrence Wilkins (trumpet), Benjamin Crane (bass), Charlie Hutchinson (drums) and Tjoe Man Cheung (guitar), and they will be joined from some very special guests just for this show.
