This is Perfect Days, the latest film by Wim Wenders, a disarming portrait of what we all seek - contentment.
Nominated for Best International Feature and showcasing an outstanding and beguiling leading performance by Koji Yakusho as Hirayama the toilet cleaner, Perfect Days is the perfect film to lead us into 2024 as we all ponder what will bring us peace in our lives.
Complementing the film, we are encouraging our audiences to stay for a post-screening introduction to Haiku writing, led by Japanese poet, Erica Hesketh, courtesy of BESEA Poets collective founded by Christy Ku.
In true MilkTea style, expect some sweets treats and more at this very special presentation.
