Margins United is a festival by Eastern Margins. We're the UK’s only festival celebrating Alternative East & South-East Asian culture — a Day & Night experience curated by Eastern Margins through music, art, food, and community. This time, we’re taking over 2 venues; day & night.

AFTERPARTY • 11PM–6AM at Scala Kings Cross

WHEN / WHERE IS THIS HAPPENING?

Margins United takes place on 27 September 2025 across 2 venues; day & night.

DAY (3PM - 11PM): the festival takes place at Exhibition White City (W12 7SL).

NIGHT (11PM - 6AM): the afterparty takes place at Scala (N1 9NL).

HOW DO I GET THERE?

Festival - Exhibition White City:

Wood Lane (Circle / Hammersmith & City): 2 Min Walk

Shepherds Bush (Central / London Overground): 15 Min Walk

Afterparty - Scala Kings Cross:

Kings Cross St Pancras (Victoria / Northern / Hammersmith & City / Circle / Metropolitan): 1 Min Walk

Exhibition White City to Scala Route:

TfL Underground: Wood Lane to Kings Cross St Pancras via Circle or Hammersmith & City lines

SO WHAT EXACTLY IS HAPPENING?

Margins United will consist of 2 phases this year - a journey through the full spectrum of Alternative ESEA creativity.

PHASE 1: FESTIVAL

This kicks off at 3PM at Exhibition White City, a Grade II-listed former engine house reimagined as a 2 storey cultural venue. A brand new space - Margins United will take over this 2,800 capacity space for the first ever festival under its roof.

The upstairs room will be taken over for live performances and DJ sets from the likes of KYARY PAMYU PAMYU, JAX JONES & FRIENDS, EMEI, TOHJI, BILLIONHAPPY, PETERPARKER69 & EFFIE.

The downstairs will feature our ETERNAL MARKET, where we'll have everything from vintage Japanese archive pieces, an exclusive CARHARTT WIP x MARGINS UNITED capsule collection, avant-garde Vietnamese jewllery to of course, delicious Pandan cakes.

PHASE 2: AFTERPARTY

As day turns to evening, we move across London to the historic Scala Kings Cross, where we enter into the full Redline Rave, helmed by MINNA-NO-KIMOCHI, HAINAFROMCHINA b2b DJ G2G, CLAIR & DIRTY K.

WHO IS MARGINS UNITED FOR?

Margins United is for everyone. The festival is a celebration of Alternative ESEA culture. We want to share, showcase and spotlight the Margins.

Everyone is welcome to attend. We are here to celebrate and unite. This is an inclusive space.

We will have a dedicated welfare framework and team working hard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.

The main festival is 16+

The afterparty is 18+

I HAVE ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS. WILL I BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE?

For the main festival at Exhibition White City, all areas of the venue, apart from the Mezzanine, are accessible, with large lifts and toilets on both floors.

General access go on sale at Friday 11 April 11AM UK.
