Family of East and Half East Records presents: Making it in Music: Why Community Matters Panel + Open Decks


Let's be honest, making it in music is hard.


That’s why we're bringing together six collectives, to share the power of community; and how you can grow as an artists through collaboration.


Collectives:

Family of East

A database of Artists of Asian heritage - featuring DJs, radio presenters, producers and musicians with the electronic music.


Half East Records

International music collective that platforms East and South East Asian (ESEA) DJs, artists and creatives.


Daytimers

A collective that champion the sounds, stories and voices of South Asian creatives and communities.


BUMPAH

London based collective that celebrate Queer POC artists within the underground rave scene.


Easten Margins

The home of alternative Asian culture; existing as a label, events series and agency.


Taosol Jam

London’s first live and electronic fusion featuring DJs.

This is a free event, open for everyone.

Whether you are artist of Asian heritage, breaking into the music industry, or a music enthusiast, wishing find community within the industry - this event is for you.

DJs - bring your USB, for a chance to play during our Open Decks!
