Each free ticket comes with a cup of bubble tea and a piece of taiyaki. Please indicate in the registration form of your dietary preferences. The venue also prohibits single-use plastic materials, so we strongly encourage attendees to bring your own cups, or else we regret that we may not be able to share bubble tea with you. While the event will take place in March, due to limited portable heating equipment within the venue, we encourage attendees to bring jackets to keep warm.
The venue is accessible via lift or a flight of stairs. The entrance will be located next to the main doors of Sparks. There will be clear signage to direct attendees to the right place. The closest parking space is The Galleries, a shopping mall near Sparks. If you have any questions about accessibility or the event in general, please feel free to reach out at moonfestofficial@gmail.com.
Who and what:
Made on the Moon is an East & South East Asian cultural and creative agency specialising in events production, artists liaison, community outreach and workshops. Our annual flagship arts festival MOON FEST was launched in 2022, has welcomed more than 500 creatives and festival-goers over the years, as well as having been featured by the BBC Bristol, The Bristol Magazine, Bristol Post and more.
All Set West is a new skills package for the region funded by the BFI National Lottery Places Fund. Launching in April, All Set West will provide people from underrepresented backgrounds with inclusive training, placements, pastoral support and networks, to help them access and succeed in scripted film/TV production roles.
Community Tour events are part of the West of England Film/HETV Workforce Development Programme delivered by Bristol City Council’s Film Services (*comprising The Bottle Yard Studios, Bristol UNESCO City of Film and Bristol Film Office). It was funded by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority’s Mayoral Priority Skills Fund, which provides flexible grants to meet current priority skills gaps in the region. It was part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Sipping Fish, our caterer originally from Hong Kong and now based in Bristol will be preparing the delicious bubble tea and taiyaki for us.
We hope to see you there on March 27 at Sparks!
