About the event

About

ESEA Life Drawing take over the Roden Centre for Creative Learning’s Social Space for a fun-filled evening of sketching. To celebrate our 2025 Artist in Residence, Ming Wong and his new film ‘Dance of the sun on the water | Saltatio solis in aqua’, draw from models whose costumes are inspired by the story of Saint Sebastian and the Roman world.

These fun and informal sessions, accompanied by music, are suitable for all levels of ability.

Materials are generously provided by Stabilo.

ESEA Life Drawing

Brought to you by Wing Kei and Kelly, ESEA Life Drawing is a monthly life drawing class that champions ESEA (East and South-East Asian) representation in body expression. Working exclusively with collaborators and life models of ESEA background, each month comes with a fresh new venue, theme, and vibe. As both tattoo artists and part-time life models, ESEA Life Drawing came about as a means to find their own voices, and to connect with others alike.
