🐴🔥Draig Fest is BACK for the 2026 Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse with “Home and Hearth”!
Time & Location

Tŷ Ni Social Club, 12A Pearl Pl, Cardiff CF24 1HE, UK
About the event
This year as an organisation, we are focusing on fundraising for future Draig Fests and beyond. We are raising funds through “Home and Hearth” to put on more new events this year and reach more queer ESEA folk in Wales to fund cultural and artistic activities.
OUR THEME:
“Home and Hearth” is inspired by our collective rootedness in Welsh culture, with the hearth signifying warmth, gathering and belonging. The Year of the Horse signifies boldness, freedom, and endurance. For many queer ESEA folk in Wales, home is an adventure marked by the brave journey of migration, the courage behind mixing ancestries, relating to many lands and cultures in a complex and beautiful way. “Home and Hearth” isn’t an arrival, but rather an active move in the exploration of what home means for queer Welsh ESEA’s.
