About the event
Alastair and Ben love congee. They are doing a supper club and you are invited!
Congee is a traditional savoury rice porridge that is widely eaten across Asia, however is difficult to find in the UK. We want to share the joy we get from this staple Cantonese comfort food. At its heart is the idea of warmth: dishes that soothe, and nourish. Expect a mix of Cantonese cooking with a dash of Yorkshire thrown in.
Each main course pairs congee with complementary small dishes — sometimes traditional, sometimes reimagined. Come join us for a cozy evening at Zao An Collective, 6:30-9:30pm on 3rd December.
