A brand new multi-media, choral-theatre work from the exceptional SANSARA choir and artist collective Tangram.

Trailblazing artist collective Tangram is creating a new work for the brilliantly gifted SANSARA choir. Composers Alex Ho and Rockey Sun Keting collaborate with the renowned author Yilin Wang in a fascinating choral-theatre piece. Chronicle 时•录 traces the voices of six women poets across a millennium of Chinese history. Through war, exile, love, loss and displacement, their poems record not only personal emotion, but also the fragile continuity of culture and memory.

Co-commissioned by SANSARA and Nederlands Kamerkoor, with support from PRS Foundation, The Radcliffe Trust, The Leche Trust, Vaughan Williams Foundation, Cockayne Grants for the Arts, and Britten Pears Arts.
