Kenji Morimoto Supper Club & Masterclass

On july 27th, Matsudai Ramen is bringing their friend @kenjcooks to cardiff for a one-off collaborative dinner *AND* a fermenting masterclass.

the supper is an a la carte affair so just book a table as usual for this. it's a £10 deposit but that sum will come off your bill. the menu will feature a plant-based ramen, various delicious small plates and a couple of desserts, some of which come from kenji’s recently published book

tickets to the fermenting masterclass are £10 each, but again you can claim that £10 back against the cost of the book if you buy a copy when you attend.

if you don’t know of kenji, well, where have you been?! based in london, kenji is a fourth generation japanese-american. as a kid, he was in charge of making pickles for family gatherings, learning from his elders to recreate the flavours of home.

it’s fair to say that passion has spiralled, as kenji has been spreading the word, cooking and pickling all over the place - with supper clubs in poland and london, workshops on koji and kimchi, and collabs with ottolenghi, zoe, tim anderson, tim spector and many more. see you there.
